It’s semi-final time in ICC cricket world cup 2015. New
Zealand faces South Africa in the first semi-final. Both the teams never play a
single world cup final. Now one team got the chane to play in the finals.
Another one have to wait for another four years.
Toss:
South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first.

South Africa : Vernon Philander back to the team replacing
Kyle Abbott.
New Zealand: Matt Henry replace injured Adam Milne.
South Africa’s innings:
Hashim Amla and Quinton De Kock open the innings. Hashim
Amla dismissed by Trent Boult on 10. Boult strikes agin to dismiss Quinton De
Kock. Tren Boult take 16 top oreder wicket in the tournament he add two more in
the list. Faf Du Plessis join with Rile Rossouw to rebuiid the innings. They
did fair job but Rile Rossouw departed by corey Anderson with the help of
brilliant catch by Martin Guptil.
The skipper AB Devilliers comes to the crease and start his
fire works very early. Both the batsmen’s hit half centuries. The run rate
climbing up very fast. Unfortunately rain interrupt the match, covers on
players leave the field. After two hours delay match resumed but overs reduced
to 43 overs per team. Plessis and Devilliers resume their game. Plessis caught
behind by Ronchi, Corey Anderson strikes it again to break the set partnership.
On the other side Devilliers doesn’t face much deliveries
after that break, but David Miller made up for him played magnificent innings
to score 49 off just 18 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. At end of the innings
Devilliers scored 65 and JP Duminy scores 8. Both the batsmen’s remain not out.

Brendon McCullun and Martin Guptil open the innings. Carnage
begin very early McCullum smashed boundaries and sixes all over the park. He
scored his half-century in just 22 balls. McCullum lost his wicket on 59. Kane
Williamson misses out in this match scores just 6. Rose Taylor and Martin
Guptil setting nice partnership, unfortunately Guptil run out on 34 and Taylor
dismissed on 30.
New Zealand in deep trouble on that stage. Corey Anderson
and Grant Elliot takes the responsibility for their team. Both batsmens put strong partnership and both hit half-centuries. Corey Anderson departed on 58. Grant Elliot played a blinder to take New Zealand home.
